I suggest you put your all chips on red, if you loose collect the chips before the dealer does it and run.

 ???
I am sure there was lucky_strike's post above

Man, even if I did have time I would make myself busy.
My philosophy is simple, 18 +18 is not greater than 37.

Anyway the question was what to do with 2 x $1000 vouchers
Which you need to back up with your own money.
If you place $2000 vouchers and $2000 cash you can win $4000 or lose $2000.

;-) also you can do this :  if the limit is possibele  2000 on red and 2000 on black (and insurec 100.- plain for zero)
normaly you have 4000 less 100 .-
or by zero you get 3500 and you win 1500.-  (of course you can take 120 on plain or 150)

i do this some times if i get the entry cetons (in gold or other) and if i dont play i bet red or black (without  zero, because the money is too less)

That's what I would do, can't gamble on side bets $2k

It is really as cashing $2k vouchers for 1k cash.
But if we look small $5 or $10 vouchers most likely that would be gambled.
So if we played that way, if casino to their loyal customers gives $1 M in vouchers they actually gave $0.5m,  but in reality it is even less.
