Determining Bias 500 spins at a time

Hi all,

New to forum, and finding all the info on here amazingly helpful. One question I have had for a while though and wanted to know some opinions on it. I used to stand for hours and record spins to try to find biased, several years ago I had found one that I was making money on, but moved from that city.

Local casino has a board that records hot and cold numbers in last 200 spins and another 500. Would it be possible to determine bias simply by getting enough samples of these results? I know 200 spins is not close to enough for determining bias, but what if i got the results from the board over 30 days say, that would be top numbers for around 6000 spins, would this be enough or do you need uninterupted data??

Any thoughts on this would be great.

That’s what I’ve asked some time ago.
I believe checking hot cold numbers for 300 spins each day for 10 days should give same as checking continuously 3000 spins.

It might be better since you may check it at same time during the day.
Disadvantage is you can’t get ball direction.

Don’t get surprised if someone one day stats selling it as a genuine winning roulette method.

Before doing that, make sure the number detector works. Some have problems and replace a number by another one. In one of my local casino, 26 is always shown as 32 on the marquee. You imagine what mistake we would be making assuming 32 to be a biased single number!.

I considered doing this a little while back and do not know why I didn't!

Interesting point from, Bago.  But do you think this can actually work in a
live enviroment.  I mean with the casino having access to all numbers
CW and ACW wouldn't they spot a bias before it can be put to good use.
Some time ago I was in the casino and some guys had a laptop and
frame work holding a hi tec camera and seemed to be interested in one
of the frets on the wheel which was being displayed larger than life on the
laptop, maybe finding imperfections?

How about those automatic wheels, would it be likely they get less
scruntiny as I have never seen one shut down at my local casino
for maintenance?  It is a 24 hour casino by the way and they just
do their thing over and over 24/7.

If a wheel was that biased that it showed up on the hot cold board I'm sure the casino would notice before you do. I guess you have to ask yourself if it was that easy, why hasn't someone else done it? The real fact of the matter is finding a biased roulette wheel in today's modern casinos is far tougher than most think. It's actually one of the few things that guys like Mr J and Steve say that is correct. I do hope you are able to find one and prove me wrong. I've looked for biased wheels myself and haven't found much to write home about. I remember coming close once but the damn casino beat me to it after I wasted a month of tracking . I'm still ticked about it.

VB is probably the way to go if you want to beat a wheel in a short time.

Yes, they probably would have an automated indicator when the pitboss has to react.
Other way he might be smart and call his friends.

Thanks guys, thats what I was thinking but as always its good to get a more
informed opinion.  Unless someone can come up with a reasonable query for
doing it I will stay with VB

hey thats a good idea, maybe if you went to every single roulette wheel in your local casino and did that over a couple days you might be able to find a bias, not that the casino doesnt know already, just that they probably think nobody would figure it out before their next wheel maintenance. I personally had an experiene where a wheel kept showing 0 in the hot numbers, over the space of 2-3 weeks. surprisingly after a while they stopped showing the hot numbers section for an "unknown reason". Then again i didnt have the balls or the bank roll to play the bias.

I know as i read them all.

And does things you find from Kelly and Snowman is only hints or the top something more complex.
Sure you can pin-point out wheels with out DS and there is complete methods doing so - is just take some more time then DS where you are more effective.

I dont post so much any-more as i doing well and just read what others have to say.
But if you realy want to find out and learn you should start to build relations and trusth.
That is the only way you will find some one that will teach you.

Nobody backed up your claims and you didn’t complete what you promised.
Not been able to follow up is not a very good attitude for a roulette player.
